INTERNAL VISIONRadon is a dynamic organisation which is focused on the growth and development of knowledge and skills of all employees, especially those from "Previously Disadvantaged Communities". Radon supports the principles of affirmative action and strives to create real opportunities for "Previously Disadvantaged Individuals". During the last financial year, Radon has: Successfully implemented an "Affirmative
Procurement Policy" and has achieved a "Contract Participation
Goal" in excess of 30 % of turnover. EXTERNAL VISION In its support of affirmative action policies, Radon strives to do business with companies which have similar visions. As a consequence: Radon formed an association with Sawcon,
an "ABE" whose workers, exclusively from previously disadvantaged
communities, are the shareholders. This is a "win win" association
which enables the "ABE" to have a secure and reliable source
of work and for Radon to execute contracts in partnership with an "ABE"
to fulfil Radon's goal of empowering "PDI's" in line with
the Government's stated policies. |
